The use of texture is common in her work, whether it be with layered Japanese papers, gold threads, shells from the west coast, or antique postage stamps from around the world. She feels this added dimension gives so much life to the piece. Formerly an officer and one of the first women aircrew in the Canadian military, Trisha is now happily settled in Cobble Hill, British Columbia, with her husband and twin daughters.
