Don’t have 951 square feet of mess-making and drying space in your house? No? Then, this workshop is just for you!
This two-day workshop will focus on demonstrating professional bookbinding techniques and skill-building to allow participants to better customize their books. And keep the mess in the bindery where it belongs!
We will explore the following techniques:
Bring your apron and your own materials to prepare a stash of samples over two days. The instructor will reach out to recommend materials and papers that will be most successful, so sign up early!
Rose Newlove is a graduate of the Fleming College conservation program and works as a book and paper conservator in Toronto. She has studied bookbinding at CBBAG with Don Taylor and Betsy Palmer Eldridge and at the American Academy of Bookbinding with Don Etherington.
