In the Guided Stream, participants will be assigned a CBBAG instructor to be their mentor. The Guided Stream requires participants to submit models of each of the projects by mail at set intervals for critique and feedback from their mentor.
Participants who successfully complete Guided Stream workshops will have the required prerequisites for in-person core curriculum workshops. The successful completion of these workshops will also be counted towards the CBBAG Certificate of Completion.
In 2021, CBBAG updated Bookbinding 1 and now hosts the workshop using the online teaching platform Thinkific.
As of February 2022, CBBAG has put Bookbinding 2 & 3 on hold for the Guided Stream. The teaching materials require updating and work has started on that process. The existing materials are all available for purchase by interested participants through the Independent Stream.
