Home Study - Guided Stream

In the Guided Stream, participants will be assigned a CBBAG instructor to be their mentor. The Guided Stream requires participants to submit models of each of the projects by mail at set intervals for critique and feedback from their mentor.

Participants who successfully complete Guided Stream workshops will have the required prerequisites for in-person core curriculum workshops. The successful completion of these workshops will also be counted towards the CBBAG Certificate of Completion.

In 2021 CBBAG updated Bookbinding 1 and now hosts the workshop using the online teaching platform Thinkific.

The curriculum for the Bookbinding 2 Guided Stream is planned to be updated in 2025-2026. Bookbinding 3 and Introduction to Leather is not offered through the Guided Stream of Home Study. The original Home Study materials are all available for purchase by interested participants through the Independent Stream Foundation Bundles.
