This limp binding is based on a 18th century record of expenditures on wheat.
The textblock is sewn, incorporating leather headbands. The folded cover is made from a lamination of linen and handmade paper. The textblock and headbands are held in place using a series of tackets. The closure is a tied leather thong.
This is a great introductory course for beginners.
