IN PERSON - Four Seasons Pop-Up with Barb Helander

In this workshop, participants will complete a pop-up book with the theme of the four seasons. Each season presents a different pop-up technique – from the simple table armature used to announce “Spring” to the more complex slice-form used for “Winter” snow globe.

In order to understand how each pop-up works, a model of each structure will be prepared prior to making each folio. A variety of art effects will also be used to embellish each page – collage, coloured pencils, glitter, etc.
