Join us for a one-day workshop to make your own Journal! The journal will have a leather cover, a snappy elastic closure, and a useful gusseted back pocket just like a Moleskine!

The text block will be made of Tomoe River paper - perfect for heavy ink uses like sketching and calligraphy and will have almost 200 pages for all your big thoughts!

Great class for beginners or intermediate binders who want to get some more bench practice!

Don Taylor is a bookbinder and restorer who works and teaches in Toronto. He has taught for CBBAG since 1984. He was trained in bookbinding and design at Sheridan College and the Three Schools of Art and has studied with Betsy Palmer Eldridge. His work is exhibited widely and is represented in public and private collections across Canada, and he can be found at http://www.dontaylorbookbinder.com/

Participant-requested cancellations will be accepted up to 3 days prior to the published cut-off date for registration and will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee (a minimum of $5). After that, the full fee will be forfeited. In the event of the workshop being cancelled by CBBAG, the workshop fee will be fully refunded.
